Measurement & Verification Engineer

Randstad is working with one of Australia's leading Accredited Certificate Providers (ACPs), dedicated to simplifying complex energy efficiency policy and driving meaningful change through energy efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives. They are seeking a full-time, highly skilled Senior Measurement & Verification (M&V) Engineer to join our team in North Sydney. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be crucial to the delivery of M&V energy efficiency, renewable energy projects, and large-scale consultancy work, including commercial HVAC, electrification, and Solar PV technologies. This role offers significant career and leadership potential within a rapidly growing and impactful industry.

The role

• Lead the technical delivery of projects, generating certificates (white certificates, carbon credits).
• Provide expert technical guidance for emissions reduction initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships.
• Mentor and peer-review the work of other energy engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

You

• Proven experience in technical delivery of energy efficiency projects within state-based certificate programs (previous ACP experience encouraged).
• Strong understanding of energy use, emissions reduction, and renewable technologies in the Australian market.
• Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) or Performance Measurement & Verification Analyst (PMVA) is required.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering, Science, or technical field).
